DUSHANBE, February 28, Asia-Plus -- Two Afghan nationals have been detained with a large amount of heroin in Dushanbe.
An operation carried out by officers from the Drug Control Agency (DCA) in Dushanbe on February 27 led to the arrest of two Afghan drug peddlers, the DCA press center reports. Five packages of narcotic drug that tested positive to heroin weighing five kilograms were confiscated from them.
Criminal proceedings have been instituted against the detained drug pushers and an investigation is under way.
