DUSHANBE, March 18, 2013, Asia-Plus -- A student from Kulob Medical College has been detained with more than 60 kilograms of drugs in the Shouroobod district, the Interior Ministry’s website reported on March 18.
The first year student from Kulob Medical College, Tolibjon Safaraliyev, 21, was detained by police officers in the Shouroobod district on suspicion of having been involved in drug pushing. Five packages of narcotic drug that tested positive to cannabis weighing 60.76 kilograms were confiscated from him.
Criminal proceedings have been instituted against the detained drug peddler and an investigation is under way, the source said.
