DUSHANBE, May 5, 2013, Asia-Plus – An operation carried out by police officers in the Bobojonghafourov district, Sughd province on May 3 led to the arrest of two alleged drug peddlers, according to the Ministry of Interior (MoI).
An official source at a MoI says a package of narcotic drug that tested positive to hashish weighing more than 5.4 kilograms was confiscated from them.
Criminal proceedings have been instituted against the detained drug pushers and an investigation is under way.
