DUSHANBE, August 13, 2013, Asia-Plus – Officers from the Drug Control Agency (DCA) under the President of Tajikistan have reportedly seized some 70 kilograms of narcotics in two separate operations.
According to the DCA press center, the operation carried out by the drug control officers in the village of Khirmanjo in Khatlon’s Shouroobod district has led to the seizure of more than 54 kilograms of cannabis and 11 kilograms of hashish.
500 grams of raw opium have been seized in the operation carried out by the drug control officers in Dushanbe, the DCA press center said.
