Former opposition commander in Rasht was appointed as a military specialist in one of the directorates of Tajikistan Armed Forces General Staff.
DUSHANBE, September 4, 2013, Asia-Plus – Former commander of the United Tajik Opposition in Rasht District, former Head of Regional Department for Fighting against Organized Crime of the Interior Ministry in Rasht group of districts, Mizakhouja Ahmadov, has been appointed as a non-military specialist in one of the Armed Forces General Staff directorates. Defense Ministry spokesperson, Faridun Mahmadaliev, told this in an interview to Asia-Plus.
Mr. Mahmadaliev said: "Ahmadov has not been given a military rank, since he is not a military specialist, and he works for us as a civilian."
