DUSHANBE, October 23, 2013, Asia-Plus -- A multi-level operation carried out by officers from the Drug Control Agency (DCA) in the northern Sughd province has led to the arrest of four drug traffickers, according to the DCA press center.
Some 30 kilograms of heroin and raw opium, which were intended for transportation to the Russian Federation, have been confiscated from them.
Criminal proceedings have been instituted against the detained drug traffickers under the provisions of Article 200 (4) of Tajikistan’s Penal Code – drug trafficking; an investigation is under way.
