DUSHANBE, November 1, 2013, Asia-Plus – On Thursday October 31, the Drug Control Agency (DCA)’s office in Sughd province burned 146.104 kilograms of narcotics, according to the DCA’s official website.
A totaled reportedly included 79.567 kilograms of heroin, 66.357 kilograms of hashish and 180 grams of raw opium.
The drugs that were confiscated in the course of this year and were material evidences in nine criminal proceedings were burned in a special narcotics-burning incinerator.
More than 14 tons of drugs have reportedly been destroyed in Tajikistan by burning since the Tajik drug control agency was established.
