DUSHANBE, December 16, 2013, Asia-Plus – Tajik drug control officers’ visit to the Russian Federation concluded today.
Tajik drug control chief Rustam Nazarov heading a delegation, comprising representatives of Tajik Drug Control Agency (DCA), has visited a number of Russian cities, according to the DCA press center.
The main purpose of the visit was for Tajik drug control officers to discuss further expansion of cooperation of Tajik counternarcotics agency with Russian counternarcotics agency’s offices in the regions and Russian local authorities in combating drug trafficking.
On December 14, Tajik drug control officers reportedly met with vice-governor of the Novosibirsk oblast Kirill Kolonchin and senior officers of the Russian Federal Drug Control Service (FSKN)’s office for Novosibirsk.
On December 16, Tajik drug control chief met with senior representatives of the Krasnoyarsk local authorities and senior officers of FSKN’s office for Krasnoyarsk Krai.
