DUSHANBE, February 18, 2014, Asia-Plus – Foreign national have been detained with heroin in the Murgab district of the Gorno Badakhshan Autonomous Region (GBAO), the Drug Control Agency (DCA) press center reported on February 18.

Drug control officers reportedly found narcotics while searching Hova truck belonging to him.  Narcotic drug hidden in the pack of cigarettes tested positive to heroin weighing several grams, the source said.

Criminal proceedings have been instituted against the driver and an investigation is under way.

Counternarcotics agency did not say of what country the detained driver is national.
