DUSHANBE, July 6, 2014, Asia-Plus -- Two residents of the Danghara district in the southern Khatlon province – Sharifjon Mirozyev, 36, and Qiyomiddin Davlatshoyev, 33 – have been arrested on suspicion of drug pushing, the Interior Ministry’s website reported on July 5.

A package of narcotic drug that tested positive to hashish weighing nearly 1.5 kilograms was confiscated from them.

Criminal proceedings have been instituted against the detained drug peddlers and an investigation is under way.
