Dushanbe police arrested a 56-year old resident of Hamadani district in Khatlan province, Nazar Doustmuradov, on suspicion of involvement in drug trafficking.

According to the Interior Ministry press center, during the search of the arrested person’s belongings, more than 8 kilograms of hashish and approximately 17 kilograms of opium have been discovered and confiscated.

A criminal case is opened based on the fact.
