DUSHANBE, September 4, Asia-Plus -- China is expected to provide technical assistance to Tajik national army.
According to a reliable source, a group of high-ranking military officials will accompany Chinese President Xi Jinping on his official visit to Tajikistan.
They will hand over technical assistance to the Ministry of Defense of Tajikistan (MoD), the source said.
According to him, a new six-story House of Officers, which was built in Dushanbe under financial support of China, will be official opened during Chinese president’s visit to Tajikistan.
We will recall that construction of the House of Officers began in 2012 and the Government of China provided a $14 million grant for this project.
