DUSHANBE, September 15, 20134, Asia-Plus -- Two residents of Dushanbe were arrested on September 14 on suspicion of having been involved in drug trafficking, according to the Drug Control Agency under the President of Tajikistan (DCA).
Four packages of narcotic drug that tested positive to 7.22 kilograms of raw opium were confiscated from them, an official source at DCA said.
Criminal proceedings have been instituted against alleged drug peddlers and an investigation is under way.
