DUSHANBE, September 17, 2014, Asia-Plus -- At request of President Emomali Rahmon Tojikstandart (Agency for Standardization, Certification, Metrology and Trade Inspection) has funded construction of a new frontier post in northern Tajikistan at the Kyrgyz border.
“The frontier post has been constructed in the Lakkon jamoat of Isfara in Sughd province,” Iqbol Teshayev, a spokesman for the Isfara mayor, told Asia-Plus in an interview.
According to him, a total cost of the project is 7 million somoni. “The frontier post has barracks for soldiers, apartment building for officers, canteen, bathhouse, stable, and guard dog nursery,” the spokesman said.
