DUSHANBE, November 20, 2014, Asia-Plus – A young woman from the Qumsangir district in Khatlon province has been arrested on suspicion of child abduction.
The Interior Ministry’s website reports that Qumsangir resident, H.A., 55, applied to the Interior Ministry’s office in Qumsangir on November 19, saying that her former daughter-in-law, K.L., 30, penetrated into her house on the night of November 19 and abducted a one-month-old baby.
The alleged kidnapper has been detained and criminal proceedings have been instituted against her; an investigation is under way, the source said.
