DUSHANBE, July 7, 2015, Asia-Plus – Tajik national is accused of organizing a transnational criminal group in Russia’s Ulyanovsk oblast.
According to the official website of the Ulyanovsk prosecutor’s office, Tajik national Emomiddin Shamsov, 37, and resident of Ulyanovsk Shuhrat Qarayev, 38, in 2012 organized a criminal group engaged in delivering large consignments of heroin from Tajikistan to Russia.
The criminal group that consisted of nine people was reportedly broken up in January 2014.
Shamsov and two other members of this criminal group are still wanted by the police.
