DUSHANBE, July 8, 2015, Asia-Plus -- A meeting of the Coordinating Council on Preventing Drug Abuse, presided over by the Drug Control Agency (DCA) chief Rustam Nazarzoda, took place in Dushanbe yesterday.
According to the DCA press center, the meeting focused on issues related to the progress of implementation of Tajikistan’s Strategy on Combating Illicit Drug Trafficking designed for the period of 2013-2020 and the plan of actions on implementation of the Strategy.
Taking into consideration appearance of new types of narcotics, the Coordinating Council reportedly made a decision to set up the working group (WG) to elaborate mechanisms of simplifying the procedure of making changes and addenda to the “National List of Narcotics, Psychotropic Substances and Their Precursors.”
