Dushanbe. 28 August. “Asia Plus” -- During the meeting of the Coordinating Council of Prosecutors General of CIS countries and the SCO, that took place in Astana on August 27, there was a meeting of Prosecutors General of Tajikistan Yusuf Rakhmonov and Kyrgyzstan Indira Dzholdubaevoy.
As said the source in the Prosecutor General''s Office in Tajikistan, the sides discussed the issues of facilitating the processes of delimitation and demarcation of the state border, prevention of population conflict on the border areas, objective and comprehensive investigation of arising cases, including the organization of a joint investigation team, transference of the convicted citizens from the two sides for further punishment in their homeland.
For the purpose of a practical implementation of the issues, discussed between the General Prosecutor''s Office of Tajikistan and the Prosecutor General of Kyrgyzstan was signed an agreement on legal assistance and cooperation.
