Dushanbe. 8 September. “Asia Plus” -- In Kurgan region was passed a sentence against a citizen of Tajikistan, which has hid for 14 years from Russian justice.
As reports the press service of the Prosecutor''s Office of Kurgan region, in the dock was a 35-year-old citizen of Tajikistan Abdusabur Kayumov.
"The court established that Kayumov in October 2001 in Chebache village of Chastoozersk District drank alcohol in the house of local pensioners. After a quarrel, arisen with the couple, he decided to kill the elderly people and struck them a few blows in the head with a wooden hammer, taken at the scene. However, the women did not die, she timely received medical treatment and she survived.
After committing the crime, the malefactor hid and was wanted for 14 years", - said the press service.
The killer was finally sentenced to18 years of imprisonment in a penal colony.
