DUSHANBE, December 18, 2015, Asia-Plus – A 27-yer-old resident of the Vahdat Township has been detained with a large amount of hashish in Dushanbe.

According to the Interior Ministry’s website, a special operation carried out by police in Dushanbe on December 17 led to the arrest of a resident of the Vahdat Township, who was suspected of involvement in drug trafficking.

Several packages of narcotics drug that tested positive to hashish weighing 12.655 kilograms were confiscated from him.

Criminal proceedings have been instituted against the alleged drug peddler and an investigation is under way.
