DUSHANBE, February 9, 2016, Asia-Plus – A 39-year-old resident of the Farkhor district in Khatlon was detained on February 8 on suspicion of drug pushing, according to the Interior Ministry’s website.
12.97 kilograms of hashish were found hidden in his Opel-Astra and 14.2 kilograms of raw opium were found hidden his house in Farkhor.
Besides, police officers found 4.46 kilograms of heroin while searching the detainee’s half-finished house in the Roudaki district.
Criminal proceedings have been instituted against the alleged drug peddler and an investigation is under way.
