DUSHANBE, May 27, 2016, Asia-Plus – 374.045 kilograms of drugs were burnt in a special narcotic-burning incinerator of the Drug Control Agency (DCA) in Dushanbe on May 27, according to the DCA press service.
A totaled reportedly included 16.452 kilograms of heroin, 161.999 kilograms of raw opium, 107.511 kilograms of hashish, 88.376 kilograms of cannabis, and 22 MDMA pills.
The drugs were confiscated by drug control officers, border guards and customs officers the course of 2015-2016 and they were burnt in the presence of representatives of law enforcement and judicial bodies and media, the source said.
According to him, more than 15 tons of narcotics have been burnt in the DCA incinerator over the past one and half years.
