DUSHANBE, July 27, 2016, Asia-Plus – As part of his working visit to the Hamadoni district in Khatlon province President Emomali Rahmon today visited border unit 2133 of the Main Border Guard Directorate at the State Committee for National Security (SCNS), according to the Tajik president’s official website.
This border unit reportedly controls a 106.3-kilometer stretch of Tajikistan’s common border with Afghanistan.
The president got acquainted with service and living conditions of border guards and visited the border unit’s museum.
Border unit 2133, which is also known as the “Hamadoni” border unit, is reportedly provided with all necessary military equipment.
