In the beginning of the year, convicted for 28 years Sarvinoz Rakhmatova, who has murder the members of Boboev family from Bobojon Gafurov district of Sughd region, may be released under the Amnesty declared in honor of the 25th anniversary of Tajikistan''s independence.
About this informed the head of the Main Department for execution of criminal sanctions Ministry of justice Lieutenant-General Izatullo Sharipov today, August 24, during the discussion of the new draft law of RT "On Amnesty" in the lower house of the Parliament of the Republic.
He noted that according to the paragraphs of the current law "On Amnesty", S. Rakhmatova fall under the Amnesty. In this regard, I. Sharipov proposed to amend the new law amendments that will not allow granting Amnesty in the future to this category of women.
The speaker of the lower house of Parliament of the RT Shukurjon Zuhurov promised to consider the proposal.
Recall that in the beginning of the year seven members of Rahmatov family – residents of Khujand and Chkalovsk – were sentenced to long terms of imprisonment on charges of murder of Boboev family members from Bobojon Gafurov district. In particular Sarvinoz Rakhmatova received 28 years of imprisonment.
The brutal murder of Boboev family, which was engaged in sale of jewelry, took place in June 2013. In that day were killed the businessman, a resident of the Bobojon Ghafurov district Ahmadhudja Boboev, his wife Hayothon Boboeva and their children Rukhshona, Suhrob and Sanjarbek. After the murder the assailants had set fire to the house of the entrepreneur.
This crime, the investigation of which has lasted more than two years, had shocked the whole society in Tajikistan.
