Three brothers and their sister are wanted by Tajik police on suspicion of traveling to Syria to join Daesh (the Arabic language acronym for Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant – ISIL) extremist group.
According to the Interior Ministry’s website, the Tourabekovs brothers – Elyorbek, 20, Asilbek, 17, and Khudoyorbek, 26 – and their 24-year-old sister, Nodirbegim Tourabekova, joined the Daesh group last year.
All of them are residents of the Mehnatobod settlement in Zafarobod district, Sughd province.
Besides, six other residents of the Mehnatobod settlement – Ms. Zuhra Boltayev, 24, Mr. Islomiddin Boronov, 24, Mr. Sherali Mamadqulov, 38, Mr. Ilhomjon Qayumov, 44, Mr. Salohiddin Keldiyev, 20, and Mr. Davron Mamadqulov, 29 – are also wanted by Tajik police on suspicion of joining the Daesh extremist group.
