DUSHANBE, February 22, 2011, Asia-Plus -- Iranian entrepreneurs plan to invest in construction of three specialized clinics in Tajikistan.
According to the Iranian Embassy in Dushanbe, Iranian private companies are ready to sponsor construction of eye clinic, plastic and reconstructive surgery clinic, and clinic specializing in kidney and urologic diseases in the Tajik capital.
“This issue is currently under consideration at the Ministry of Health of Tajikistan,” the source said, noting that construction of the mentioned clinics will allow Tajik nationals to undergo treatment in Tajikistan with lower expenses.
“Every month, the Iranian Embassy issues up to 100 visas for Tajik nationals wanting to undergo medical treatment in Iran,” he added.
We will recall that the Abu Ali Sino clinic specializing in heart and kidney diseases was built in Dushanbe due to Iranian investments. The Iranian side has invested some 14 million U.S. dollars in construction of this clinic.
