DUSHANBE, May 2, 2011, Asia-Plus -- It is very hard to forecast the situation that will emerge in the world after the death of Al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden, known Tajik religious leader and politician Hoji Akbar Tuajonzoda told Asia-Plus Monday afternoon.
“There ought not to forget that he had many followers,” said Turajonzoda. “It would be naïve to consider that extremist and terrorist groups will disappear after Bin Laden’s death.”
According to him, the situation will not change for better until the Western powers, first of all the United States and the European Union, change their attitude to the Islamic world.
“In my strong opinion, terrorist groups will most likely appear and leaders of such groups like Bin Aden will appear until the Palestinian problem is resolved,” Turajonzoda stated.
