DUSHANBE, May 4, 2011, Asia-Plus -- The Yekaterinburg (Russia)-Dushanbe auto race dedicated to the 20th anniversary of Tajikistan’s Independence started at the end of last week, according to the Tajik MFA information department.
A convoy of two all-terrain vehicles Nissan Patrol and Mitsubishi Pajero, totaling four persons, is headed by Vyacheslav Trapeznikov, top manager of the Yekaterinburg-based construction company, Aston Group.
During ten days, the convoy is expected to visit the cities of Istaravshan, Khujand and Dushanbe, beauty spots of Iskandar-Kul, Varzob and Romit as well as the Hissar Fortress, the source said.
