QURGHON TEPPA, June 22, 2011, Asia-Plus -- The low rate of the collection of funds from the public and enterprises evokes concern and the Qurghon Teppa power supply enterprise has decided to seek mayor’s help to collect funds.
Sherali Shirinbekov, deputy director of the Qurghon Teppa power supply enterprise, says the city electricity debts rose 2.043 million somoni in five months to June 1, 2011, reaching 13.67 million.
“Over the first five months of this year, the enterprise has supplied 80 million kWh of electricity for 6.366 million somoni to local enterprises and the public and only 4.217 million somoni have been reimbursed so far,” Shirinbekov said.
According to him, the most incorrigible nonpayers are milling plant Ordi Khatlon (44,000 somoni), transformer plant (42,000 somoni), oil mill Rughani Somoni (21,000 somoni) and local educational facilities (11,000 somoni).
“We have applied to Mayor Sharifkhon Samiyev for help to tackle the fund collection problem,” Shirinbekov added.
