DUSHANBE, July 30, 2011, Asia-Plus -- By government’s decree Atokhoja Mirkhoja, formerly editor-in-chief of the Naqliyot (Transport) weekly, was appointed the first deputy editor-in-chief of the government mouthpiece, Jumhuriyat , replacing Qurbon Madaliyev, according to the presidential press service.
Qurbon Madaliyev was reportedly retired for health reasons.
Ms. Talat Nigorova was relieved of her post of deputy editor-in-chief of Jumhuriyat for age reasons and was replaced by Ms. Hurinisso Rasoulova.
Besides, Hamza Mahmoudov was appointed to head the state TV and radio-broadcasting inspectorate that was recently established at the Committee for TV and Radio-broadcasting.
