DUSHANBE, August 2, 2011, Asia-Plus -- Time of entrance examinations has started in Tajikistan.
Alidod Rasoulov, head of the department for higher and post-diploma education within the Ministry of Education (MoE) says 30 higher educational institutions and branches of six foreign universities now function in the country.
“30,225 people have lodged entrance applications to the country’s higher educational institution by July 27,” said Rasoulov, “Tajik National University alone has a received 3,397 applications and 2,829 people have lodged entrance applications to Khujand State University.”
