KHUJAND, August 5, 2011, Asia-Plus -- On Friday August 5, President Emomali Rahmon attended a ceremony of an official opening of a new building for the Khujand-based Tajik University of Law, Business and Politics.
Faculties of law as well as business and innovative management will be placed in the building that is designed to accommodate 3,000 students.
Speaking at the building-inauguration ceremony, Osim Karimov, Chancellor of Tajik University of Law, Business and Politics, said that 6,000 students now study at the university, including foreign students. 60 students from Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan are currently studying at Tajik University of Law, Business and Politics in Khujnad, Karimov said.
The university has electronic library that will be connected to the single information system and wireless Internet in the new academic year.
