KHUJAND, October 19, 2011, Asia-Plus -- Tajikistan’s first refresher center for barristers will be open in Khujand, the capital of the northern Sughd province.
Ms. Mohira Usmonov, chairperson of the Collegium of Barristers in Sughd province, says that at first, the center will be organizing workshops for barristers and then they will seek other opportunities to bring training to a new level. The first of a series of training seminars for barristers will be conducted in November, she noted.
147 lawyers now work with the Collegium of Barristers in Sughd province.
