DUSHANBE, November 2011, Asia-Plus -- Safiallo Devonayev, the head of the Migration Service under the Government of Tajikistan, yesterday met here with Pakistan’s Ambassador to Tajikistan Amjad Hussain Barakat Ali Sial.
According to the Migration Service press center, Devonayev acquainted Pakistani diplomat with newly created structure of the Migration Service, its goals and objectives as well as prospects of expansion of cooperation with foreign countries.
Ambassador Amjad Hussain Barakat Ali Sial reportedly inquired about the procedure of registration of Pakistani specialists arriving in Tajikistan for construction of a cement plant in Khatlon’s Danghara district. He also asked about implementation of projects dedicated to construct a textile factory and rehabilitate the cement plant in Dushanbe, the source said.
To-date, thirty citizens of Pakistan have been registered in Tajikistan and got permits for labor activity in the country, he added.
