Heads of 20 secondary schools of Dushanbe were dismissed from their posts as a result of recent certification carried out by the Dushanbe Education Department.
In her interview to AP head of the department Gulnora Boboeva said that new directors were appointed in accordance with views and opinions of teachers, parents’ committees and regional education departments.
Ms.Boboeva added that newly appointed directors will pass through special training courses during summer vacations.
Top Dushanbe education official also said that a total of 38 directors of education institutions were fired this year for issue of fake secondary education certificates, misuse of power, low level of professional skills and knowledge of teachers and behavior of pupils.
Currently 140 education institutions operate in Dushanbe.
