KULOB, July 5, 2012, Asia-Plus -- A mini plant for producing macaroni is expected to be introduced into operation in Kulob soon, Deputy Kulob Mayor, Rustam Nematov, told Asia-Plus Thursday afternoon.
According to him, specialists a recurrently installing German equipment a the enterprise that will have capacity of producing 250 kilograms of macaroni per hour. “A flour-milling workshop will be built at the enterprise soon,” the deputy mayor added.
The enterprise is expected to buy the superior quality wheat from Kazakhstan. “Negotiations with potential partners are under way,” Nematov noted.
Meanwhile, local firm, Fayzi Amir, has introduced three new workshops for producing meat dumplings, dairy products and confectionery into operation recently.
In all, six small private enterprises have reportedly been introduced into operation in Kulob over the last six months of this year, the deputy mayor said.
