DUSHANBE, July 12, 2012, Asia-Plus -- The Migration Service under the Government of Tajikistan intends to expand cooperation with Arab countries.
The Migration Service head Safiallo Devonayev remarked this at a meeting of the Migration Service board on July 11, and official source at the Tajik migration service agency told Asia-Plus today.
Issues of expansion of cooperation with far-abroad countries, in particular with Arab countries, require special attention, Devonayev stressed.
The Migration Service board decided to intensify activities of relevant structure of the Migration Service dealing with that issue.
Issues related to protection of rights and interests of Tajik labor migrants working abroad, professional development of labor migrants and enhancement of their awareness level were also among major topics of the meeting, the source said.
