DUSHANBE, July 18, 2012, Asia-Plus -- The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has reportedly opened its office in the northern Sughd province.
According to the Tajik MFA information department, MFA’s office in Sughd is dedicated to promote implementation of Tajikistan’s international relations policy in the province and further expansion of cooperation with representative offices of foreign nations and international organizations active in Sughd.
Besides, MFA’s office in Sughd is also authorized to issue visas to foreign citizens and stateless persons at Khujand International Airport, the source said.
