KULOB, January 2, 2013, Asia-Plus -- Kulob’s budget for 2013 will be 64,236,206 million somoni and its revenue part will stand at 29,619,534 somoni, according to the Kulob finance department.
An official source at the Kulob finance department says education and health spending will account for more than 80 percent of the budget allocations, with 32,737,864 somoni earmarked for education and 19,856,358 somoni earmarked for the health sector.
The budget projects expenditure of 1,131,660 somoni in the culture sector. In 2013, 71,400 somoni will be spent on the sports sector and 3.415 million somoni are earmarked for the construction sector.
Besides, the Kulob budget earmarks 2,175,840 for public services.
Kulob mayor’s fund is expected to amount to 148,098 somoni this year, the source said.
