DUSHANBE, January 5, 2013, Asia-Plus -- A new private radio station, Radio Isfara , has gone on the air in the northern Sughd province.
The Radio Isfara director Sakhbon Qurbonov says the radio station that broadcasts on FM frequency 105.2 MHz may be picked up by residents of the Isfara district and border districts of Kyrgyzstan.
“Our radio airs sixteen hours per day and its program content includes news, music as well as entertainment and intellectual programs,” Qurbonov noted.
According to him, Radio Isfara went on the air with support from the Committee for TV and Radio-broadcasting under the Government of Tajikistan
