DUSHANBE, February 27, 2013, Asia-Plus -- In line with implementation of government’s resolution on human rights program for 2013-2020 the was adopted in December last year, the first meeting of the Interagency Coordinating Council for Protection of Human Rights under the Tajik Human Rights Ombudsman Office took place in Dushanbe on February 26.
Aziz Soliyev, a spokesman for the Tajik Human Rights Ombudsman Office, says the meeting participants included representatives from relevant ministries and agencies as well as local universities.
The meeting, in particular, discussed issues related to teaching human rights courses at Tajik universities and specialized educational facilities.
