KHUJAND, March 16, 2013, Asia-Plus -- A young entrepreneur from the northern city of Khujand has committed suicide.
According to the Interior Ministry’s office for Sughd province, O.K, 27, was found hanged in his apartment last Friday. There were no signs of violent death on his body.
The Khujand prosecutor has launched an investigation into this incident, the source said.
In all, six suicide cases have been reported in Sughd province over this week.
According to the statistical data from the Interior Ministry’s Office for Sughd province, 28 cases of suicide and nine cases of suicide attempt have been reported in the area over the first two months of this year.
Men, including four minors have committee suicide in 21 cases and women have committed suicide in 16 case.
The listed causes of suicide were mental diseases (12), family problems (5), economic problems (1), other causes (12), and unspecified (7).
