DUSHANBE, March 18, 2013, Asia-Plus -- Safiallo Devonayev, Head of the Migration Service under the Government of Tajikistan at the end of last week met here with representatives of Tajik diplomatic corps.
According to the migration service agency press center, Devonayev informed Tajik diplomats of activities of his agency and noted that some 90 percent of Tajik labor migrants travel primarily to the Russian Federation.
Devonayev reportedly noted that the main problems facing Tajik labor migrants working abroad were the ignorance of the language of the destination country and low professional skills.
He also asked the diplomats to assist with studying an experience of foreign countries in regulating labor migration flows and protecting rights of labor migrants, the press center said.
