DUSHANBE, April 4, 2013, Asia-Plus -- Students from Tajik State Medical University have reportedly won five of seven gold medals in an Open International Internet Chemistry Olympiad for the academic year 2012-2013.
“The 2nd (regional) individual round of the Open International Student Olympiads for the academic year 2012-2013 took place from March 22 to March 27,” said an official source at Tajik State Medical University. “The Internet Olympiads were held in the following disciplines: mathematics; physics; chemistry; informatics; economics; ecology; theoretical mechanics; mechanics of materials; Russian Language; and Russian history. Our students Shahboz Zulfaliyev, Shahboz Yaqubboyev, Mehriyor Komilov, Dilafrouz Saidaliyeva and Rahimjon Abdulloyev participated in the Open Internet Chemistry Olympiad and won five of seven gold medals.”
In all, 1,308 students from 152 universities from Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan participated in the Open Internet Student Olympiads for the academic year 2012-2013, the source added.
