DUSHANBE, May 3, 2013, Asia-Plus – Tajik migration service agency is seriously concerned over the low level of education among the youth of the country.
A statement released by the Migration Service under the Government of Tajikistan, in particular, notes that the population growth is high in Tajikistan while the country’s employment opportunities are very low.
“Tens of thousands of Tajik seasonal workers travel abroad each year, but more than 50 percent of them do not have higher or secondary technical education,” the statement said.
Tajik migration authorities point to the necessity of raising the level of vocational education of persons traveling abroad in search of better employment opportunities.
