DUSHANBE, June 11, 2013, Asia-Plus – On Monday June 10, Tajik Minister of Health, Nusratullo Salimov, met here with Ms. Olga Gavruk, Ambassador of Belarus to Tajikistan.
According to the Belarus MFA’s website, the sides considered a broad range of issues related to bilateral cooperation between Belarus and Tajikistan in the field of health care.
In the course of the talks, Ambassador Gavruk reportedly noted that Belarus was interested in further expansion of bilateral mutually beneficial cooperation with Tajikistan and was ready to deliver medicines, provide paid medical services and participate in tenders for delivery of medical equipment.
For his part, Mr. Salimov noted that Tajikistan was also interested in further expansion of bilateral cooperation with Belarus. According to him, Tajik physicians could take training courses at medical facilities in Belarus.
The sides reportedly agreed to solve issues regarding delivery of Belarusian medicines and medical equipment to Tajikistan as well as exchange of experience in the field of transplantology.
