DUSHANBE, July 2, 2013, Asia-Plus -- Mr. Mahmadamin Mahmadaminov, Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Tajikistan has been on a working visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), according to the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection (MoLSP).
While in Dubai, Mahmadaminov met with Mr. Mubarak Saeed Al Dhaheri, Undersecretary of the
Ministry of Labor of the United Arab Emirates.
The two reportedly discussed issues related to regulation of labor market.
“The UAE Undersecretary of the Ministry of Labor, in particular, noted that the UAE Government is currently carrying out reform to enhance control over labor migration in the United Arab Emirates and the main objective of this reform is in inviting foreign high-skilled specialists,” an official source at a MoLSP said.
In this connection, Tajik minister of labor reportedly stressed that Tajik specialists, to a large extent, meet requirements of the world labor market and asked Mr. Mubarak Saeed Al Dhaheri to assist with employment of Tajik specialists in the United Arab Emirates.
The first session of Tajikistan-UAE intergovernmental commission for trade and economic cooperation is expected to take place in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates in early October this year.
