DUSHANBE, July 11, 2013, Asia-Plus -- By mayor’s decree relevant municipal agencies will hold daily fairs for selling basic food products at Dushanbe’s Sakhovat and Dehqon bazaars from July 11 to August 12.
Shavkat Saidov, a spokesman for the Dushanbe mayor’s office, says additional dairy and meat shops will be opened in underground passages at Roudaki and Qaraboyev streets. “These shops will sell products of the Dushanbe dairy factory as well as limited liability companies Murghi Hilol (poultry farm) and Saodat (dairy factory),” the spokesman said.
We will recall that the Dushanbe mayor’s office has taken measures to cut prices for basic food products during the holy month of Ramadan.
Thus, the mayor’s office recommends the traders to sell chicken meat produced by Fayzobod’s Murghi Hilol at 7.50 somoni per kilogram, beef at 29.00 per kilogram, lamb at 30.00 somoni per kilogram, 50-kilogram sack of extra wheat flour for 130.00 somoni, vegetable oil at 7.50 somoni per liter, domestic rice at 7.00 somoni per kilogram, sugar at up to 4.20 somoni per kilogram, milk at 3.50 to 4.50 somoni per liter, potatoes at 1.50 somoni per kilogram, carrots at 1.60 somoni per kilogram, onions at 0.65 somoni per kilogram, and eggs at 0.5 somoni per piece.
