DUSHANBE, September 6, 2013, Asia-Plus – Dushanbe Mayor’s Office will provide aid to World War II veterans, yardmen, and janitors of the City due to Independence Day.
MahmadsaidUbaydullaev has made a decision to appropriate 3 million 605 thousand 950 Samani from the City budget in order to provide one time assistance to all residents of the capital, who are World War II disabled and veterans (750 Samani), residents of blockaded Leningrad, widows of fallen soldiers, home front workers, soldiers-internationalists, who have become disabled in Afghanistan, disabled liquidators of the Chernobyl catastrophe, the families of those killed during the restoration of the constitutional order Tajikistan (500 to 700 Samani).
ShavkatSaidov, Mayor’s Spokesperson said: “Furthermore, 1 thousand 310 Dushanbe families, where more than 2 disabled persons live will receive 700 Samani each, 2 thousand and 726 City yardmen and janitors will receive 500 Samani each, and 142 heads of the City micro-districts and 12 heads of permanent commissions of the City Majlis will receive 700 Samani each.”
