DUSHANBE, September 23, 2013, Asia-Plus – Over the first eight months of this year, some 400 Tajiks have received Russian citizenship in Russia’s Krasnoyarsk Krai, according to the Federal Migration Service (FMS)’s office in Krasnoyarsk.
In all, 1,884 foreign citizens and stateless persons have received Russian citizenship in the Krasnoyarsk Krai in January-August this year, 521 people more than in the same period last year.
From the total number of those accepted in 2013, 21 percent reportedly arrived from Tajikistan, 18 percent from Kyrgyzstan, 16 percent from Kazakhstan, and 12 percent from Armenia.
